The boiler is a membrane wall high pressure boiler, producing steam 125 t/h, 9,4 Mpa, 540 C. Average daily black coal consumption is about 310 t. There are 6 coal burners, 4 natural gas stabilization burners, 2 ball black coal mills (Claudius Peters). The boiler was built in 1994 (operation with brown coal, 4 impeller coal mills), reconstruction in 1998 (reconstruction for black coal, build up of the 2 ball mills), last general repair of the bottom part was in 2008. The total operated hours of the boiler are 100 014 h. The boiler was built and the reconstruction provided by SES Tlmače, a. s.
