The periodical reject separators of PSN series PSN-30, -31, -40 are designed for cleaning of pulpers in waste paper processing lines. They belong to a family of closed secondary pulpers that are equipped with a sorting screen and two rotors, respectively with one working rotor only (PSN-40). These separators run in periodical cycles controlled by automatics (usually type APES). Their pulping function is based on utilisation of hydrodynamic and mechanic effects. Separation of unwished impurities (i.e. foils, plastic particles, leathers, rubber pieces, rags, woods etc.) runs completely during operation. These periodical separators can run both in permanent or intermittent operation according to volumes to be processed and a grade of impurities contained in waste paper. This machine is allowed to be used only for purposes as stated herein.
Technical Advantages • all parts coming in contact with the stock are made of stainless steel • design simplicity and high efficiency in service • rugged structure and used high-grade materials provide long service life of the equipment
Technological Advantages • increased pulper capacity by 15 – 20 % • reduced wear and tear of functional elements of pulper (i.e. longer service life of stator, rotor, vaned rim and trough) • possible application with diverse types of waste paper pulpers • high efficiency of cleaning performance and reliability in service • pure and well-washed rejects outgoing nearly without any loss of fibres • considerable reduction of shutdowns due to cleaning of pulpers
