Reject Separators RS

RS separators are intended for fibering, sorting and washing of reject from the primary sorters in the stock preparation lines. They work in a periodic, program-controlled mode, which consists of operations such as pumping, fabric operation, threading, washing and reject processing. It is no longer necessary to sort the washed reject, but only to thicken it.

Basic Machine Parts

  • working chamber / machine unit / outlet chamber sealed with a stuffing box
  • functional elements: sorting screen wiped by the working and pumping rotor
  • bearing, shaft
  • base frame
  • belt drive with cover / electric motor
Parts of the machine that come into contact with the stock (input, working and output chamber) are made of stainless steel, the other parts are made of structural steel with a polyurethane coating. RS separators achieve high sorting efficiency and an excellent fibering effect. They have minimal requirements for operation and maintenance even when processing very coarse and polluted substances.
